I would just like to take a minute to let all who read this letter how much the smith douglas team cares about the quality of home they produce and how they give an extremely great value for the product they manufacture. Michelle and Justin were always available to answer any question and address any concern (even though there weren't many concerns). It was an incredible experience for my daughters and I to watch the transformation from plot of land to finished home. All parties seemed to share in our experience and enjoy it as much as us. Even after the home was built Justin has asked me at least 5 times in the last year if everything was good with the house. I actually had an issue with my home that was actually my fault and told Justin about it and much to my surprise, he rectified the issue in a matter of a week, when really he and smithdouglas didn't have to. From Tom the owner and down the line through every employee and contractor, smithdouglas is a very caring, friendly, professional, and most of all HONEST company. I would recommend anybody to smithdouglas, you would be happy that you went with them just as I am.

Hello, how are you? I hope all is well. Please allow me to take a moment and introduce myself. My name is Angela De Freece, and I’m one of the newest members of the Ballentine Pointe families. I reside at 75 Bollen Lane, and I’m a proud first time home owner. It has always been a dream of mine to purchase my own home. It’s said that purchasing a home is one of the most stressful events in a person’s life. I’m here to assure you this not true. My journey to home ownership is a blessing thanks to Michelle Denton and Trena and Justin Swanson. Due to the professionalism of these three, homeownership was stress free.
I tried to purchase a home last year and earlier in the year, but things didn’t work out. I was ready to give up. I thought home ownership was out of my reach, but on April 15, 2010, things changed. I met Michelle Denton, a knowledgeable, professional, and patient sales consultant. Michelle toured me around the model home. I thanked her and started walking out the door. She directed me to take a seat in her office so we could talk some more. You see, I never thought I would be able to live in or have such a beautiful home, but it was Michelle’s persistence that opened the door for my family and me.
Trena Swanson was the second person on my path to home ownership to impact my life. Trena was the sweetest and most kind-hearted person I’ve ever met. Trena took a job that was daunting and stressful to most and relayed the information to me in such a way that it made me feel at ease. She was meticulous, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Her warm smile soothed any and all anxiety that I had, especially when it came to signing all the paperwork. Trena took the time to explain everything in depth, and she always kept the lines of communication open with me.
Last but not least, Justin Swanson made the biggest impact on my life because he was symbolic of my dream coming to pass. Justin was amazing, and his work, attitude, and demeanor were impeccable; flawless. He was thorough, patient, and caring. He painstakingly went over every inch of my house from the bottom to the top, and he did it with a smile on his face. He made me feel worthy of my new home. I’m astounded by Justin’s work ethics. He continues to give more than 100%.
Mr. Bradbury, you have a phenomenal staff, and it’s so important this be known. I hope they all continue to play a part in blessing the lives of so many more home owners. They work well together and complement one another. They’re a beautiful blessing and I thank God for them on a daily basis. There isn’t anything that I wouldn’t do for them. They will never really know or understand their roles in my life. They’ve made such a significant impact on my life. They made my dream a reality!!

I was a very nervous property virgin but the team at Highland Falls really took care of me! Michelle Denton's assistant first showed me my future new home; I fell in love with it at that moment! Michelle Denton then took the lead and kept me calm all the way. She even interrupted her husband on their computer the second night after I had moved in to look up a pizza place that would deliver to my new house! Wow, that's service.
My next experience was with Suzette McClellan my mortgage coordinator. She was so great! She kept me informed with all of the changes and updates along the way. At this point Michelle notified me that I was approved!
I then did the walk through to my future home with Justin Swanson. He took his time showing me everything I needed to know about the house in a way that I understood, and I do not fix things well so this was perfect for me. Final walk thru was just hours before the closing and the house was ready!
The Beltrami Group was next on the agenda. After that I would either be a homeowner or stay an apartment dweller. Happy to say I became a HOMEOWNER in the presents of Sharon and Lou at the Beltrami Group! We laughed, we hugged, and we bonded!
What an experience, I would recommend Highland Falls and the team to anyone looking for a new home…

I have to give a big thank you to Michelle Denton, Justin Swanson and Suzette McLellan. My husband and I were incredibly impressed with how smooth the process of purchasing a new home was from beginning to end, and we would recommend doing business with Smith Douglas Communities to anyone.
We weren't really planning on owning a home for years to come. The prospect of buying a home at such a young age and right out of graduate school without a ridiculous interest rate or high down payment seemed impossible. After meeting with Michelle for just a few minutes and later getting pre-approved for a home loan with Suzette's assistance, we began to feel like we just may be able to own a home--a beautiful, affordable home in a really nice community. We never felt overwhelmed or a lack of understanding because Michelle made herself very available whenever we had questions. Suzette was amazingly fast with her email responses and always gave a quick and knowledgeable reply to any of our questions or concerns. Michelle made us very comfortable with her expertise, warm personality and availability. Suzette's professionalism and willingness to answer any questions we had also put us at ease.
When closing time came, we had the pleasure of meeting Justin Swanson for our first walk-through. Not only was he friendly and approachable, he was professional and helped us inspect our house inch by inch. Only a few minor things needed to be fixed, and Justin made sure they were done by the day of closing. We felt we were in good hands upon meeting him the first time, and after the way our house looked on closing, we couldn't have been happier. Justin took the time to answer our questions made sure to go the extra mile for us.
